Your ID will arrive through the mail within 20 days. For more information, contact Central Issuance.
Track the delivery of your new card to see when it will arrive.
If your non-driver ID is lost or destroyed, you can get a duplicate non-driver ID.
If your name has changed since you got your last non-driver ID, there are additional steps to update your name on your new non-driver ID. Learn how to change your name on your non-driver ID.
If your address has changed since you got your last ID, there are additional steps to update your address on your new ID. Learn how to change your address.
You will get a temporary non-driver ID at your appointment. Your permanent ID card will arrive through the mail.
Your new ID will only be mailed to the mailing address on file with the DMV. If you have mail forwarding, you will NOT receive your new ID.
Your duplicate credential will be mailed directly to the address on file and you will receive it within 20 days.
