  CTDOT is announcing that an epoxy pavement markings project will be performed on multiple routes through out District 4 (Southwestern Connecticut) starting on Wednesday, August 9 through Friday, November 17, 2023.

  CTDOT is announcing that a milling and resurfacing project will be performed on Service Routes 635 (Williams Street), 638 (Briggs Street) and 636 (Briggs Street) in New London starting on Wednesday, August 16 through Thursday, August 31, 2023.

• 8/8/2023 Milling and Resurfacing Project: Route 71 in Berlin

  CTDOT is announcing that a milling and resurfacing project will be performed on Route 71 in Berlin from Route 71A Chamberlain Highway to Route 372 Farmington Avenue starting on Wednesday, August 30 through Friday, September 15, 2023.

• 8/7/2023 Installation of Wrong Way Pavement Markings in Greater Hartford Area

  CTDOT is announcing work for the installation of wrong way pavement markings on various State and municipal roads as well as intersections with limited access off-ramps along Routes 9, 384, 84, 91, 2, 15, 66, 691, 1, 291, 20, and 72 starting August 2, 2023.

  CTDOT is announcing that a milling and resurfacing project will be performed on Route 58 & 136 in Easton starting on Monday, August 14 through Friday, September 15, 2023.

• 8/7/2023 Nighttime Milling and Resurfacing Project: Route 5 in East Windsor from the South Windsor / East Windsor Town Line to Newberry Road

  CTDOT is announcing that a nighttime milling and resurfacing project will be performed on Route 5 in East Windsor from the South Windsor / East Windsor town line to Newberry Road starting on Monday, August 21 through Thursday, September 21, 2023.

• 8/7/2023 Mill and Fill Resurfacing Project: I-95 Southbound in Branford

  CTDOT is announcing that a mill and fill resurfacing project will be performed on Interstate 95 southbound from the Guilford/Branford town line to exit 54 (Cedar Street) starting on Tuesday, September 5 through Monday, September 25, 2023.

• 8/7/2023 Nighttime Forestry Mowing: I-84 Exit 45 Westbound Off-Ramp and Eastbound On-Ramp and Exit 42 Westbound Off-Ramp and Eastbound On-Ramp in Hartford

  CTDOT is announcing forestry mowing along I-84 Exits 45 and 42 on the Westbound off-ramps and Eastbound on-ramps in Hartford will begin Sunday, August 6, 2023, between the hours of 7:00 p.m.-5:00 a.m.

• 8/7/2023 Drainage Pipe Rehabilitation: Nighttime Lane Closures on I-95 North and Southbound Exits 59-61 in Madison

  CTDOT is announcing that a drainage pipe rehabilitation operation will require the closure of alternating right and left lanes on Interstate 95 north and southbound Exits 59 - 61 in Madison on Thursday, August 17, 2023.

  CTDOT is announcing scheduled periodic closures and detour of the I-95 Southbound Off-Ramp and I-95 Northbound On-Ramp at Exit 17 in Westport from Wednesday, August 9 through Friday, September 15 between the hours of 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

  CTDOT is announcing a lane shift of Route 2 Eastbound at the Sutton Avenue Bridge beginning on August 6, 2023, weather permitting.

• 8/2/2023 Median Construction on Route 9 in Middletown

  CTDOT is announcing the commencement of median and bridge construction on Route 9 Northbound and Southbound between Washington Street (Exit 23C) and Route 17 (Exit 23A) starting on August 7, 2023.

• 7/31/2023 Scheduled Nighttime Lane Closures on I-95 Northbound Exit 27A Between Exits 24-26 and Closure of Exit 27A in Bridgeport

  CTDOT is announcing that there will be nighttime lane closures on I-95 northbound between exit 24 and exit 26 starting on Tuesday, August 1, 2023, to Friday, August 4, 2023, between 7:00 p.m. and 5:00 a.m.

• 7/31/2023 Rehabilitation of Putnam Bridge in Wethersfield and Glastonbury

  The Connecticut Department of Transportation (CTDOT) is developing plans to rehabilitate Bridge No. 00417, which carries State Route 3 over Great Meadow Road and the Connecticut River connecting Wethersfield and Glastonbury in Spring 2026.
