CT ferry locations

The Department of Transportation (DOT) owns and operates two seasonal ferries across the Connecticut River. One runs between Rocky Hill and Glastonbury, and the other between Chester and Hadlyme. CT also has three interstate ferries that travel from CT to Block Island, RI; Long Island, NY; or Port Jefferson, NY.

Chester - Hadlyme ferry

Since 1769, the Hadlyme-Chester Ferry has served Connecticut travelers, providing a scenic mode of transportation.
Rocky Hill - Glastonbury ferry

The Rocky Hill - Glastonbury Ferry is the oldest operational ferry in the United States.
