Through the implementation of Best Practices and High Standards, our dedicated staff is committed to providing optimal service to the Highway and Bridge systems, in areas such as Snow and Ice Control, Incident Management, and Oversize/Overweight Vehicle Permitting.

The Bureau of Policy and Planning is dedicated to conducting a continuous, cooperative, and comprehensive statewide transportation planning process with the goal of implementing projects, strategies and services that promote economic development, sustainability, safety, security, accessibility, mobility and environmental protection.

The Bureau of Public Transportation is committed to the development, maintenance, and operation of a secure and efficient public transportation system. We focus on facilitating the movement of people through various modes, including Bus Transit, Rail Operations, Ferries, and Ridesharing programs.
