Bus and rideshare services
Our office is responsible for the CTtransit bus system and for rideshare services. That means we:
- Oversee the CTtransit and CTfastrak bus systems, including maintenance
- Contract ADA paratransit services in CTtransit service areas for people with disabilities that prevent them from using buses
- Work with private companies to operate express bus services to Hartford, New Haven, and White Plains, NY
We also oversee state bus capital projects throughout Connecticut.
