About
The Connecticut Public Transportation Council (CPTC) is an independent advisory group advocating for bus transit, rail, and all other forms of public transportation.
Council members are appointed by the Governor and senior leaders of the Connecticut General Assembly. The CPTC works with the Department of Transportation and the various rail and transit service providers to bring forth the experiences of commuters and ensure their voices are heard. The CPTC is committed to improving the commuting experience for everyone.
Public transportation users are encouraged to contact the CPTC and attend meetings. It is through the collective voice of the commuter that positive change can happen.
