• 8/17/2021 Scheduled Traffic Lane Shift on the Derby-Shelton Bridge Carrying Bridge Street over the Housatonic River in Shelton

  The Connecticut Department of Transportation is a announcing that on August 25, 2021, traffic lanes will be shifted towards the south side of the Derby-Shelton Bridge, and that the north-side sidewalk will be closed to facilitate construction activities associated with the rehabilitation of the bridge.

• 8/17/2021 Scheduled Closure and Detour of Beacon Street in Norwalk for Bridge Construction Activities

  The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing the scheduled closure and detour of Beacon Street in Norwalk from Monday, August 23, 2021, through Tuesday, November 30, 2021. Beacon Street will be closed at the intersection of Beacon Street at Strawberry Hill Avenue and Beacon Street at MacIntosh Road. The closure is necessary to facilitate ongoing construction activities associated with the rehabilitation of Bridge0061 carrying Strawberry Hill Avenue over I-95 in Norwalk.

  The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing the scheduled nighttime closure of the I-91 northbound Exit 29A off-ramp on the nights of Sunday, August 29, 2021, and Monday, August 30, 2021, between the hours of 8 PM and 5 AM. The closure is necessary to facilitate bridge maintenance activities.

  The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that a milling and resurfacing project will be performed on a 0.78 mile segment of Route 44 from SR 907 to the Route 5 Overlap in East Hartford.

  The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that a milling and resurfacing project will be performed on Route 6 in Plymouth from Route 72 to the Bristol City Line.

• 8/9/2021 Scheduled Closure and Detour of Route 22 for Ongoing Modern Roundabout Construction Activities in Guilford, Branford and North Branford

  The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing the scheduled closure and detour of Route 22 to facilitate ongoing work activities for the construction of a modern roundabout at Route 1 and Route 22 in Guilford, Branford and North Branford. The closure and detour will occur beginning at 6 PM on August 15, 2021, and will remain in place through August 20, 2021, at 6 AM.

The detour is necessary to facilitate ongoing construction activities associated with the replacement of Bridge 02668 carrying Route 140 (Crystal Lake Road) over Charters Brook in the Ellington.
