Scheduled Nighttime Closure of I-91 Northbound Exit 29A Off-Ramp in Hartford
The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing the scheduled nighttime closure of the I-91 northbound Exit 29A off-ramp on the nights of Sunday, August 29, 2021, and Monday, August 30, 2021, between the hours of 8 PM and 5 AM. The closure is necessary to facilitate bridge maintenance activities.
Motorists on I-91 Northbound should continue past Exit 29A and take Exit 33. At the end of the Exit 33 ramp, take a left over the bridge, continue to the next traffic signal and then take a left onto the I-91 Southbound on-ramp. Continue on I-91 Southbound to Exit 29A.
Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to remain alert, drive cautiously, and to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
