The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that a milling and resurfacing project will be performed on Route 322 from SR 844 (Meriden Road) to Woodtick Road in Wolcott.
This project consists of milling and resurfacing a 2.30-mile segment of Route 322, from SR 844 (Meriden Road) to Woodtick Road. This milling portion of the project is scheduled to occur from Thursday, August 26, 2021, to Wednesday, September 1, 2021. The resurfacing segment of this project is scheduled to occur from Monday, September 20, 2021, to Tuesday, September 28, 2021.
This project is included in the Department of Transportation’s 2021 Vendor Resurfacing Program.
Motorist can expect lane closure on Route 322, from SR844 (Meriden Road) to Woodtick Road. Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. The regular work schedule for this project is 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. (Monday - Friday).
Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to remain alert, drive cautiously, and to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
