Scheduled One-Day Closure of Beacon Street in Norwalk for Bridge Construction Activities
The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing a scheduled one-day closure and detour of Beacon Street at Strawberry Hill Avenue in Norwalk on Wednesday, August 11, 2021, between the hours of 8 AM and 4 PM. The closure is necessary to facilitate ongoing bridge construction activities.
Detour signs will be installed to guide motorists and pedestrians to alternate routes. Motorists will be detoured from Beacon Street to Tierney Street, and ending at Strawberry Hill Avenue.
Modifications or extensions to the schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions.
