
DMV Lieutenant Named Regional President of Commercial Vehicle Safety Alliance

WETHERSFIELD, Conn. – Department of Motor Vehicles Lieutenant Abraham Rosario has been named Region I President of the Commercial Vehicle Safety Alliance, DMV Commissioner Tony Guerrera announced today.
CVSA is a nonprofit organization comprised of local, state, provincial, territorial, and federal commercial motor vehicle safety officials, and industry representatives. Together, they work to promote uniformity and excellence in commercial motor vehicle safety enforcement and to ensure the highest level of highway safety across North America.
“This appointment is a tremendous honor for DMV and the state of Connecticut,” Commissioner Guerrera said. “It’s also a well-deserved recognition of Lieutenant Rosario’s professionalism, leadership and unwavering dedication to public safety within our Commercial Vehicle Safety Division.”
Lieutenant Rosario, who was promoted from his previous position as Region I Vice President, will mark the beginning of his term at a meeting in December. As President of Region I, he will be responsible for leading safety initiatives, coordinating with federal partners, and representing the interests of states within the region.
