  The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing the start of construction activities for the rehabilitation of Bridge 01708 and Bridge 03374 carrying Route 2 over West Road in Marlborough beginning on March 15, 2021.

• 3/3/2021 Virtual Public Information Meeting Concerning the Proposed Rehabilitation of Bridge 06574 Carrying Route 159 (Palisado Avenue) over Mill Brook in Windsor

  The Connecticut Department of Transportation (Department) will conduct a virtual public information meeting concerning the proposed rehabilitation of Bridge 06574, which carries Route 159 (Palisado Avenue) over Mill Brook, on Tuesday, March 16, 2021, at 7:00 p.m. The meeting will be live streamed via Microsoft Teams Live Event and YouTube Live. A Question and Answer (Q&A) session will immediately follow the presentation. The presentation will be recorded. • 3/3/2021 Scheduled Closure and Detour of Bucks Hill Road over I-84 in Southbury

  The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing the scheduled closure and detour of Bucks Hill Road over I-84 in Southbury to facilitate ongoing construction activities associated with the replacement of Bridge 01157 carrying Bucks Hill Road over I-84. The road closure and detour are scheduled to commence on Monday, March 22, 2021, at 7:00 AM, and will remain in place until Monday, November 22, 2021, at 7 AM.

  The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing the start of construction, on or about April 1, 2021, for the project to replace Bridge 03240 carrying Route 69 over Mad River in Wolcott.

• 2/28/2021 Scheduled Upcoming Closure and Detour of Route 154 in Old Saybrook for Bridge Replacement Activities

  The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing the scheduled closure and detour of Route 154 in Old Saybrook from March 8, 2021, to May 31, 2021. This closure is required to facilitate construction activities to replace Bridge 02708 carrying Route 154 over Plum Bank Creek.

• 2/28/2021 Scheduled Lane Closures on I-95 in Norwalk for Survey Work

  The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that a surveying operation will be performed on I-95 southbound at the Exit 15 overpass and at the I-95 Route 7 overpass, north and southbound, in Norwalk on Saturday and Sunday, March 6 and 7, 2021.

• 2/28/2021 Pavement Preservation Project on Route 25 Northbound and Southbound in Trumbull

  The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that a pavement preservation project will be performed on Route 25 northbound and southbound in Trumbull.

• 2/23/2021 Bridge Maintenance and Scheduled Detour on Route 130 (Stratford Avenue) in Bridgeport

  The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that a bridge maintenance project involving mechanical repairs will be performed on the Route 130 Yellow Mill Drawbridge in Bridgeport on Thursday, February 25, 2021. Route 130 will be detoured during this activity, from 9 AM to 3 PM.

• 2/23/2021 Bridge Deck End Repairs on Route 34 in Monroe and Oxford on the Stevenson Dam

  The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing bridge deck end repairs on Route 34 in Monroe and Oxford on the Stevenson Dam, on Wednesday, February 24, 2021, from 11:00 PM to Thursday, February 25, 2021, at 5:00 AM.

• 2/22/2021 Scheduled Two-Week Closure and Detour of Route 156 in East Lyme and Waterford

  The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing as part of the ongoing rehabilitation of Bridge 06026 carrying Route 156 over the Niantic River, the scheduled closure and detour of Route 156 in East Lyme and Waterford beginning on March 7, 2021, until March 19, 2021.

• 2/17/2021 Scheduled Ramp Closures for Exit 31 from Route 8 Northbound to I-84 Eastbound, and Highland Avenue On-Ramp to I-84 Eastbound

  The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing the scheduled closures of both the Exit 31 off-ramp from Route 8 northbound to I-84 eastbound, as well as the Highland Avenue on-ramp to I-84 eastbound, beginning on February 28, 2021. The closures will remain in place until August 1, 2021, and are necessary to facilitate ongoing construction activities associated with the Route 8/I-84 Interchange (Mixmaster) rehabilitation project in Waterbury.
