The Connecticut Department of Transportation (Department) will conduct a virtual public information meeting concerning proposed Project 171-456 in Union for the installation of centerline rumble strips on Route 190 (Buckley Highway) from the Stafford town line to I-84 eastbound ramps, on Monday, May 24, 2021. Intermittent Traffic Stoppages to Occur on I-84 in Middlebury on Friday, March 26, 2021
The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that intermittent traffic stoppages will occur on I-84 in Middlebury on Friday, March 26, 2021, between the hours of 12:00 AM and 5:00 AM. Traffic may be stopped for up to 20 minutes at a time in either direction during these intermittent stoppages.

Metal Beam Guide Rail Upgrade Project on Route 39 in Sherman
The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that a metal beam guide rail upgrade project will be performed on Route 39 in Sherman. The project consists of upgrading existing wood pole guide rail systems to current standard systems on Route 39 at various intersections between Route 37 and the New Fairfield town line. Work is scheduled to begin on or about Monday, March 22, 2021, and continue through Friday, May 14, 2021.

Replacement of Bridge 06695 Carrying Route 123 (Smith Ridge Road) over Rose Brook in New Canaan – Detour Tentatively Scheduled
The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing the scheduled commencement of work activities on March 23, 2021, and a scheduled 21-day detour of Route 123 beginning on April 12, 2021, for the project to replace Bridge 06695 carrying Route 123 (Smith Ridge Road) over Rose Brook in New Canaan. The project is located about 1.1 miles north of the intersection of Route 123 (Smith Ridge Road) and Route 106 (Silvermine Road).
