  The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing the scheduled weekend closure the of I-84 westbound Exit 45 off-ramp starting at 10 PM on Friday, April 23, to 5 AM on Monday, April 26, 2021. The closure is necessary to facilitate construction activities associated with the rehabilitation of Bridges 03367 and 03368 which carry I-84 over New Park Ave, Amtrak, CT Fastrak and SR 504, in Hartford.

  The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that a pavement preservation project will be performed on Route 25 northbound and southbound in Trumbull.

• 4/12/2021 Public Information Meeting Concerning Installation of Centerline Rumble Strips on Route 22 and Route 510 in Enfield

  The Connecticut Department of Transportation (Department) will conduct a public information meeting concerning proposed installation of Centerline Rumble Strips on Route 220 (Taylor Road) from 200-feet north of SSR 404 (Shaker Road) to Oak Road, and on SR 510 (Depot Hill Road) from the East Windsor town line to the northerly junction of U.S. Route 5 (King Street), on Tuesday, June 1, 2021. • 4/7/2021 Bridge Maintenance Activities Scheduled for Bridge 00220 Carrying Nod Hill over I-95 in Clinton

  The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that a bridge maintenance project will be performed on Bridge 00220 carrying Nod Road over I-95 north and southbound in Clinton. Work Activity is scheduled to occur from Monday, April 19, 2021, through Friday, May 28, 2021, between the hours of 8 PM and 5 AM.

• 4/7/2021 Nighttime lane closures on I-395 Northbound and Southbound in Montville and Norwich to Begin April 11, 2021

  The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that nighttime lane closures on I-395 northbound and southbound in Montville and Norwich will occur between April 11, 2021 and April 23, 2021. The lane closures are necessary to facilitate the replacement of median guiderail, grading of the median area, and to perform drainage adjustments.

• 4/5/2021 Scheduled Two-Month Closure of Route 8 Exit 38 Southbound Off-Ramp in Thomaston

  The CTDOT is announcing the scheduled two-month closure of the Route 8 Exit 38 southbound off-ramp in Thomaston beginning on Monday, April 19, 2021. The closure is necessary to facilitate stage 2 construction activities associate with the project to rehabilitate bridges 03350 and 03351 carrying Route 8 over the Naugatuck River.

• 4/5/2021 Bridge Maintenance Activity on Route 15 Northbound in New Haven

  The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that bridge maintenance work will be performed on Route 15 north in New Haven on Bridge 00774B. Work is scheduled to begin on the morning of Monday, April 12, 2021, ending the afternoon of Monday, April 19, 2021.

• 4/5/2021 Scheduled Closure and Detour of Strawberry Hill Avenue over I-95 in Norwalk

  The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing the scheduled short-term closure and detour of Strawberry Hill Avenue over I-95 in Norwalk beginning Saturday, April 10, 2021, at 6 AM, until Sunday, April 11, 2021 at 3 AM. The closure is necessary to facilitate the installation of a new water main associated with the rehabilitation of Bridge 00061 carrying Strawberry Hill Avenue over I-95. The roadway at the intersection of Strawberry Hill Ave and Norden Place will be detoured for the duration of the closure, and the work is weather dependent.

• 3/31/2021 Guiderail Upgrade Project on Route 68 in Prospect and Cheshire

  The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that work activities will take place from Monday, April 12, 2021, through Thursday, May 27, 2021, for the project to upgrade guiderail on Route 68 in Prospect and Cheshire.

• 3/31/2021 Guiderail Upgrade Project on Route 8 Southbound Between Exits 41 and 40 in Litchfield and Thomaston

  The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that work activities will take place from Monday, April 12, 2021, through Friday, April 30, 2021, for the project to upgrade guiderail on Route 8 southbound between Exits 41 and 40 in Litchfield and Thomaston.

• 3/31/2021 Illumination Repairs Scheduled on I-84 Eastbound and Westbound in Hartford and East Hartford

  The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that an illumination repair project will be performed on I-84 eastbound and westbound in Hartford and East Hartford. Work is scheduled to occur on Wednesday, April 7, 2021, between 8 AM and 4 PM.
