Prevailing Wage Information

Information regarding Connecticut's prevailing wage requirements and rate schedules.

Effective July 1, 2025:
Public Acts 25-168 and 25-174 made certain changes to the prevailing wage statutes. Specifically, certain types of off-site fabrication are now covered, all prevailing wage projects are subject to the annual July 1 rate adjustment, and coverage of Department of Economic and Community Development-funded projects have changed. For the amendments, please refer to sections 146 and 147 of Public Act 25-168 and sections 211 and 212 of Public Act 25-174. For questions about the applicability of these provisions to your specific project or circumstance, please email dol.prevailingwage@ct.gov.

The Annual Adjusted July 1, 2025 Prevailing Wage Rates are now available.

These rates are provided for informational purposes. If you have a prevailing wage project that is going out to bid, please obtain a bid package with the most up to date rates here. Rates are subject to change throughout the year.

If you are requesting a determination letter regarding prevailing wage coverage of your project, please email dol.prevailingwage@ct.gov and provide:

• Name of project
• Ownership of the property
• Contact person for the request and their contact information
• Address of project
• Project narrative
• Project budget and itemized funding source
• Any other relevant information or attachments
 

***Please note: The prevailing wage Residential schedule was adjusted on July 11, 2024 to address a rate issue. Additional information will be posted here when it becomes available.
