Duplicate vessel registration
If the registration for your vessel (i.e., boats or other water vessels) is lost, stolen, or damaged/destroyed, you can request a duplicate vessel registration by appointment at a DMV office with your vessel registration number, or by mail.
Note: ONLY the owner of the vessel can request a duplicate registration.

In your written correspondence, please be sure to include:
- Vessel registration number
- Your name and address as it appears on your original registration
- Your signature
- Check or money order made payable to the "DMV" in the amount of $20 for the duplicate vessel registration fee.
