The Division of Bridges manages the state’s highway and rail bridge inventory as well as a variety of other transportation structures such as span poles, mast arms, large highway sign structures, and hi-mast lighting. The unit follows the project through to construction, reviews contractor developed drawings to facilitate construction, ensures contract compliance, and provides support to address unforeseen conditions during construction.
