Responsible for the design activities performed by Consulting Engineers on the state’s major bridges and Consultant Liaison Engineers activities on State routes or State-owned rail lines that need rehabilitation or replacement. Responsible for oversight of the Department’s 60 major bridges and programming of future bridge rehabilitation and/or replacement projects for those bridges.
