About
The mission of the Administrative Law Unit of the Bureau of Finance and Administration is to provide fair and impartial public hearings for licensing and citation matters relative to Taxicab, Livery, Movers of Household Goods and Bus services regulated by the Department of Transportation in the State of Connecticut. The Administrative Law Unit holds hearings for citation matters filed against taxicab, livery/limousine, bus and household goods moving companies, as well as marine pilots. Once a case is received by the Administrative Law Unit, the case is docketed, a notice of hearing is sent and the hearing is held. Within ninety days from the close of the hearing, a final decision is rendered by the staff attorney who was the hearing officer for the case.
