Welcome to E-Apprenticeship

The Connecticut Department of Labor’s Office of Apprenticeship Training is now part of Connecticut’s e-licensing system. Registered Apprentices and sponsor employers will now use e-Apprenticeship to:

  • Register new apprentices
  • Update journeyperson lists
  • Update wage progressions
  • Complete apprentices
  • Separate apprentices
  • Add new trade programs
  • Make payments
  • Access and update your account

** We recommend using a computer to access your account. The e-license system may not display correctly on a mobile device.

For Registered Apprentices

Employers will invite their Registered Apprentices to access the system.

For Employers

Here’s how to set up your e-Apprenticeship account:

1. Go to www.elicense.ct.gov    

2. Click ‘Register’ under ‘Access Your Account

3. On the next page, below ‘Register As’, select ‘Business’, and then specify if the business has already worked with other agencies.

4. Follow the prompts to create your employer account.

5. Once you have registered your business, go to ‘Online Services’ then ‘License Maintenance’ to perform most updates.
