Connecticut Department of Labor Office of Apprenticeship Training (for Existing Sponsors)
The CT Office of Apprenticeship Training is pleased to announce the official launch of the new E-License Apprenticeship system. Below you will find instructions on how to access your account.
As an Apprenticeship Sponsor/Employer, you will be provided the opportunity to email and invite hired apprentices into the program under your supervision.
As an existing sponsor you should have received an email containing your current Temporary User ID & Temporary Password to login to the new E-License Apprenticeship system where you can access all the information about your Registered Apprenticeship Program. If you do not find the email in your inbox, please check your spam/junk folders.
- From your web browser go to the Connecticut eLicense website www.elicense.ct.gov
- Under "Access Your Account" enter your Temporary User ID and Password as shown below, then select Login.
User ID - XXXXX Password – XXXXX
- During the Login process, you will be asked to verify your email address and change your Password and User ID.
- We recommend use of a desktop or laptop computer to do maintenance; webpages may not display properly on a mobile device.
- If you are experiencing issues, click on “Forgot Password?” and follow the prompts for resetting your password.
Upon completion of these steps, you will be able to access your sponsor/employer account. You will be able to Register New Apprentices, Update Journeyperson lists, Update Wage Progressions, Complete Apprentices, Separate Apprentices, & Add New Trade Programs.
All of these can be found under the “Online Services > License Maintenance” menu.
