Federal policy changes most likely to impact CT’s economy: Healthcare, tariffs & workforce. 

  1. Cuts to Medicaid & healthcare funding will impact CT’s healthcare industry—the state’s largest economic driver. 
  2. Connecticut supply chain businesses are impacted by tariff increases and uncertainty around tariff changes. 
  3. CT’s labor force is shrinking, likely due to federal immigration policy changes.
