Future Improvements
In Design or Under Construction Improvements
State Project No. 0165-0512 Route 159 Utility Relocation and Roadway Improvements, Windsor Locks
The purpose of this project is to relocate a line of existing utility poles on the east side of Route 159 to the west side of the roadway. This will allow for the realignment of the existing track of the Hartford Line and the installation of a second track to support increased train service. The project also includes relocation of an existing traffic signal mast, curb, and sidewalk improvements and roadway safety improvements.
