Unemployment insurance claim denials

If your claim is denied, a decision letter is mailed to you. This denial letter will include:

  • The reason for the denial
  • The period of ineligibility covered by the denial
  • Information about your right to appeal the decision and how to file an appeal
  • A notice that you must file your appeal within 21 calendar days of the date on the denial letter
