Submitting an unemployment eligibility appeal

If you want to appeal a decision about your eligibility for unemployment benefits, you must file your appeal within 21 days of the decision letter's mail date. There are three ways you can file:

  • Log in to ReEmployCT.com and complete the online form
  • Mail a letter to:

    Board of Review
    DOL Appeals Division
    38 Wolcott Hill Road
    Wethersfield CT 06109

  • Fax a letter to the DOL Board of Review at 860-263-6977

Please make sure your letter or form includes:

  • A statement that it is an “Appeal to the Board of Review”
  • The referee case number
  • Every reason why you think the referee’s decision was wrong
  • An address where you receive mail

The Board of Review will mail you a letter telling you that they have received your request.
