Submitting an unemployment eligibility appeal
If you want to appeal a decision about your eligibility for unemployment benefits, you must file your appeal within 21 days of the decision letter's mail date. There are three ways you can file:

Mail a letter to:
Board of Review
DOL Appeals Division

Wethersfield CT 06109 - Fax a letter to the DOL Board of Review at 860-263-6977
Please make sure your letter or form includes:
- A statement that it is an “Appeal to the Board of Review”
- The referee case number
- Every reason why you think the referee’s decision was wrong
- An address where you receive mail
The Board of Review will mail you a letter telling you that they have received your request.
