Contract development

As part of a continuing effort to streamline the contract development process, CTDOT is issuing standard procedures and terminologies for the development of standard sheets as well as frequently used non-standard detail sheets and stand alone details used in the contract development process. For further information, see the CTDOT Standards Memorandum and Definitions.

The engineering drawings on the below webpages are in Portable Document Format (.pdf) and MicroStation CAD format (.dgn). The PDF document contains multiple PDF files assembled in a single PDF Package file. For the .dgn files, the link is to a Zip file which you can download for use in MicroStation. When opening the MicroStation file, each detail sheet is contained as a seperate cell model.  The following shows how to include CTDOT Standard Drawings for project delivery:

Standard Sheets in Highways and Traffic Disciplines have been digitally signed and are approved for use in State of CT projects with FDP dates after November 2, 2009.
