  CTDOT is announcing that the start of construction for incident management system installations along I-95 and Route 7 will begin on November 21, 2023.

• 11/7/2023 Route 9 Northbound on-ramp From Route 81 Closure in Haddam

  CTDOT is announcing that the on-ramp from Route 81 to Route 9 northbound in Haddam will be closed for bridge inspection on November 8, 2023, starting at 1:00 p.m. and lasting until 4:00 p.m.

• 11/5/2023 Weekend Lane Closures: I-84 in Waterbury

  CTDOT is announcing that, to facilitate construction work associated with the Route 8/I-84 Interchange (Mixmaster) rehabilitation project in Waterbury, multiple lanes on I-84 Eastbound will need to be closed during daytime hours November 10-12, 2023.

• 10/31/2023 Design Plans Underway for the Replacement of Highway Signs and Sign Supports along Interstate 291 from Windsor to Manchester

  CTDOT is developing plans to replace signs and sign supports along the entire length of I-291 from Windsor to Manchester and on the limited-access section of CT Routes 187 and 189 in Bloomfield.

  CTDOT is announcing the scheduled weekend closure and detour of I-95 southbound in Westport from 8:00 p.m. Friday, November 3 through 6:00 a.m. Monday, November 6, 2023.

  CTDOT is developing plans to perform repairs to beam ends and other minor structural work on Bridge No. 01505, Route 187 over Farmington River and Tunxis Avenue in Bloomfield.

  CTDOT is announcing that a surveying operation will be performed on I-95 at the Quarry Road Overpass Saturday, October 28 and Sunday, October 29, 2023.

• 10/25/2023 Safety Improvement Project: Guiderail and Attenuator Installation on Interstate 91 Northbound and Southbound in Wallingford

  CTDOT is announcing that a safety improvement project will be performed on Interstate 91 in Wallingford starting on Monday, November 6 through Friday, December 8, 2023.

• 10/25/2023 CTDOT is announcing that a surveying operation will be performed on I-91 northbound/southbound at Exit 11 on November 11, 12, 18 and 19, 2023.

  The Connecticut Department of Transportation (CTDOT) is announcing that a surveying operation will be performed on I-91 northbound and southbound at Exit 11 on Wednesday, November, 11; Thursday, November 12; Wednesday, November 18; and Thursday, November 19, 2023. This surveying operation will be performed by state forces. LANE CLOSURE INFO Motorists can expect lane closures on I-91 Northbound and Southbound in North Haven in the area of Exit 11. Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will guide motorists through the work zone. The regular work schedule for this project is from 7:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this area.

  CTDOT is developing plans to perform repairs to beam ends and other minor structural work on Bridge No. 03372A, I-84 eastbound over Hamilton Street and Bridge No. 03372B, I-84 westbound over Hamilton Street in Hartford.
