Metal Beam Guiderail Upgrade Project in Watertown
The Connecticut Department of Transportation (CTDOT) is announcing that a guiderail upgrade project will be performed on Route 8 Southbound between Exits 38 and 37 in Watertown starting Wednesday, November 1 through Wednesday, November 29, 2023.
No work will be performed on the day before or after the Thanksgiving Day Holiday.
LANE CLOSURE INFO
Motorists can expect lane closures on Route 8 in Watertown. Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will guide motorists through the work zone. The regular work schedule for this project is 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday – Friday.
Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this area.
