CT Dept. of Labor & Hartford Athletic Announce 5th Annual Hiring Expo on September 10, 2025

8/19/2025

(Hartford, CT) – The Connecticut Department of Labor and Hartford Athletic today announced that the 5th annual Hiring Expo will be held at Hartford’s Trinity Health Stadium on Wednesday, September 10, 2025, from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm. Participating companies are hiring workers for industries throughout the state including finance, technology, manufacturing, education, hospitality, and healthcare. Companies who wish to participate may reserve a table online at www.HartfordAthletic.com/expo.

Job seekers at all career levels are encouraged to bring copies of their resume and dress to impress; the event is free and pre-registration is not required. All job seekers in attendance will receive a special discount on any of Hartford Athletic's remaining home matches this season.

CTDOL reminds all job seekers that in-person and virtual appointments are available with career counselors at American Job Centers if they need resume, interview, or job search assistance. American Job Centers have computers and technology available onsite. Services are free.

Major Hiring Expo sponsors include the Connecticut Department of Transportation; M&T Bank; Lyco Solutions; All Waste; Right at Home; Connecticut Council on Problem Gambling; Obey the Orange; USA Waste & Recycling; and Dattco. Last year, more than 80 employers and 1,000 job seekers participated in the Hiring Expo.

###

The Connecticut Department of Labor and its partners provide workforce development through job fairs, Registered Apprenticeships, and CTHires, the state’s job bank. American Job Centers provide free assistance to both job seekers and employers. Programs are supported by state and federal funding.
