(Wethersfield, CT) – On Tuesday, Connecticut Department of Labor (CTDOL) Interim Commissioner Danté Bartolomeo and Hartford Athletic Chairman Bruce Mandell will hold a media availability followed by a tour of the Veterans and Diversity Hiring Expo being held at Dillon Stadium in Hartford. The event will connect job seekers to Connecticut employers that are hiring.
CTDOL will provide career assistance to registrants such as resume writing, interview skills, and dress for success advice; staff will also be on site to assist attendees. Participating employers support a diverse workforce with opportunities for veterans, people of color, women, and people with disabilities.
Sixty employers and more than 300 job seekers are registered to attend. Registration is still open for job seekers, but not required to attend the Expo.
