In order to accommodate new parents when they return to work, the Grasso-Fauliso Building located at 450 Columbus Boulevard in Hartford has specially designated lactation rooms on most floors. They are easily identified by their frosted glass doors and "Lactation Room" signage.
Please note that lactation rooms should only be used for their intended purpose and are not to be used for phone calls or meetings. However, most floors also have a marked telephone room adjacent to lactation room which can be used for private phone calls or short virtual meetings. State employees also have the option to book one of the many conference rooms located in the building.
