New DAS Solicitation Notice Regarding Trade Labor Services

The Department of Administrative Services is working to increase the awareness of the New Solicitation Notice regarding Trade Labor Services

Legislation allows DAS for projects costing $1.5 million or less and administered by the department, to establish:

(1) A list of preapproved contractors for these projects and

(2) A separate list for the purpose of using small contractors and minority business enterprises for certain projects. The Trade Labor Services will be the centralized contract to support this new change with qualified pre-approved contractors.  

The eligibility of the contract has been broadened and SBE certification is not required. While S/MBE’s is not a requirement to participate in solicitation. Encourage all S/MBE’s to participate.  Please see S/MBE program details. There will be two (2) Optional meetings that will be held online at the specified dates to discus Q&A.  Instructions will be available once you enter CTSource for an optional Pre-Solicitation meeting with links to TEAMS and the Questions and Answers instructions:

Q&A period- March 05, 2024, through March 19, 2024
