2025 Proposed CTtransit Service Changes
Bus service changes range from introduction of new routes, expansion of service hours and service frequencies, modifications of routes, and discontinuations of some routes/services for an overall more streamlined and customer-focused system. Changes are proposed for the CTtransit New Haven and Hartford division local systems, Hartford Express, and CTfastrak.
March 2025: Upcoming Open Houses
The Connecticut Department of Transportation (CTDOT) will conduct two in-person open houses for the proposed CTtransit bus service changes on March 18 and 19, 2025. The bipartisan budget adopted earlier last year included a funding increase for CTtransit bus service in Connecticut.
