Denial of benefits letters
If we deny your claim for unemployment benefits, we will notify you in writing of the reason for the denial. This notification will include:
- The reason we denied your claim for benefits
- The period of time you are ineligible for benefits
- Information about your appeal rights
You have 21 calendar days from the date mailed referenced on the notice to file an appeal challenging the denial of benefits.
