Communications Unit

Our unit communicates news and information from the CT Department of Labor to the general public. The team uses events, press releases, social media, and digital media features to keep the public informed about changes to:


  • The state economy and labor market
  • State and national policies, services, and programs for workers and businesses
  • Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification (WARN Services) and Trade Act Notices
  • Workshops and recruiting events for job seekers
