Once you are a licensed building code enforcement official, you must earn a minimum number of continuing education hours per three year training cycle to maintain licensure.

· Assistant Building Official (90 Hours)
· Construction Inspector (30 Hours)
· Electrical Inspector (30 Hours)
· Heating and Cooling Inspector (30 Hours)
· Mechanical Inspector (30 Hours)
· Plan Review Technician (90 Hours)
· Plumbing Inspector (30 Hours)
· Residential Building Inspector (60 Hours)
Your three-year licensure cycle will automatically be renewed if you complete your continuing education credits by the end of your cycle.
