Overview

If you take a live or online class from a provider other than the Office of Education and Data Management (OEDM), it may count toward your three-year licensure and certification requirements. You will have to submit an application and provide documentation that shows how the training applies to the duties and responsibilities of a building code enforcement or fire official.
