Logging in to the OEDM LMS: The basics
- Visit the OEDM LMS Login page at oedmtraining.ct.gov or by following the below link.
- If you have an existing credential through OEDM or have created an account and have your login ID and password, sign in using the "Login" and "Password" fields.
- If you do not hold any licenses or certifications through OEDM or have not previously created an account, follow the "Sign up" link.
If you already hold a credential through OEDM but have lost your username
- When you initially signed up for your credential, your username and password were emailed to you.
- Be sure to check your spam/junk folders for this message if you cannot find it in your inbox.
- If you have trouble finding it, contact the OEDM learning team at OEDMLearn@ct.gov for assistance.
If your OEDM username is not working
- Be aware that OEDM no longer uses old IDs featuring parts of your last name and Social Security number.
- Instead, you have been assigned a unique number code that serves as both your OEDM ID for continuing education unit tracking and your login for the LMS system.
- Check your email for your new login information. Don't forget to check junk/spam folders.
- If you cannot find your credentials, contact the OEDM learning team at OEDMLearn@ct.gov for assistance.
The Verify Credential button
- At the bottom of the public sign-in screen is a button labeled "Verify Credential".
- This is not for LMS users to verify their credentials.
- Rather, it is a resource for the public to use to verify whether someone is a current building or fire code official.
