What recruitments are available at the American Job Centers?

Customized recruitments for employers at the American Job Centers. These recruitments are listed in CTHires, the Connecticut Department of Labor’s workforce system.

To attend an employer recruitment, you must already have an account in CTHires or you will be required to create one.

To view recruitment events:

  1. Login to CTHires.
  2. Scroll down to Current Month’s Events, click on Employer Recruitment Event.
  3. You will be on the Filter Criteria page.
  4. System may default to your zip code and display Employer Recruitment Events in your area.
  5. Scroll down to view.
  6. May display as “Detailed List View” or “Calendar View” and can be changed by clicking on the down arrow for your preferred view.
  7. Click on a specific Workshop link for event details.
  8. Scroll to the bottom and click on the blue Register button.
  9. To expand and see statewide Employer Recruitment Event, including all virtual sessions offered:
    • Delete your zip code, click on the down arrow for Event Region and it defaults to None Selected, and unselect the event office.
  10. Scroll down and click Filter.
  11. See steps 5-8 above.
  12. If signed into CTHires account and attempt to register for a workshop does not allow you to sign up, please contact your local American Job Center.
