As specified by Section 122(a)(3) of the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA), apprenticeship programs registered with the Connecticut Department of Labor, Office of Apprenticeship Training, are automatically eligible to be included on the ETPL if the registered apprenticeship sponsor or approved related technical instruction provider indicates interest in having the program listed by contacting the local Workforce Development Board. Registered apprenticeship programs must comply with all applicable state and federal laws. WIOA’s “initial” and “continued” eligibility requirements do not apply to registered apprenticeship programs.
