Under Connecticut General Statutes 4a-16 and 45a-273, DAS is authorized to collect any assets or monies owed to the State under the following conditions:
- Long term care and/or any other Federally required Title-19 program.
- If the decedent’s Legally Liable Relatives received DCF or other State services.
