An in-person meeting regarding Project Nos. 0082-0318 and 0082-0330 for the removal of the traffic signals on Route 9 and improvements on deKoven Drive, and Rapallo Avenue will be held on Wednesday, November 18, 2026, at 5:30 p.m. at Middletown High School at 200 La Rosa Lane in Middletown. This meeting location is ADA accessible. An open house will begin at 5:30 p.m., followed by a formal presentation at 6:30 p.m. A question and answer (Q&A) session will immediately follow the presentation.
Construction is anticipated to begin spring 2027 based on the availability of funding, acquisition of rights-of-way, and approval of permits. The estimated construction cost for this project is approximately $143 million undertaken with 80% federal funds and 20% state funds.
