Welcome to the webpage for Project 0146-0205, Replacement of Bridge No. 04275 Carrying Bamforth Road over I-84 in Vernon.

A virtual public informational meeting for the project will be held on Thursday, May 14, 2026, at 6:00 p.m.

The purpose of this meeting is to provide the community an opportunity to learn about the proposed project and allow an open discussion of any views and comments concerning the proposed improvements. A Q&A session will immediately follow the presentation.

The purpose of this project is to validate the bridge’s load capacity and continue to provide a safe crossing for the traveling public by replacing the structure’s deck and restoring its foundation.

Right-of-way impacts are not anticipated.

Construction is anticipated to begin spring 2028, depending on funding, right-of-way acquisition, and permits. The estimated cost is $13 million with 80% federal funds and 20% state funds.
