The Connecticut Department of Transportation’s (Department) Office of Engineering is developing plans to rehabilitate the pavement on Interstate 84 in both the eastbound and westbound directions in Willington, Ashford, and Union between mile markers 85.56 (CT Route 32) and 97.90 (Massachusetts State Line).

The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing the scheduled shift of I-84 westbound traffic on the Rochambeau Bridge in Newtown and Southbury. During the evening of Wednesday, September 2, 2020, westbound traffic on I-84 will be shifted onto the existing eastbound portion of the bridge structure, utilizing crossovers through the existing center median prior to and after the bridge.
