The Connecticut Department of Labor (CTDOL) and Hartford Athletic are hosting the 4th annual hiring expo at Trinity Health Stadium in Hartford on Wednesday, September 18, 2024. The job fair will feature more than 100 employers from across industry sectors who are hiring for jobs they have available right now. Participating employers are committed to workforce diversity and are equal opportunity employers.

CT Department of Labor Warns of Text Scams

CTDOL is warning residents of text scams that include links to fake webpages resembling CTDOL unemployment pages, including the unemployment benefits login page.

Additionally, the agency is reminding residents that receiving a 1099 tax form or a monetary determination letter may indicate that criminals are using your identity to try to claim unemployment benefits.
