Questions about your eligibility
If an eligibility issue arises while you are receiving unemployment benefits, a fact finding will be scheduled to determine your continuing eligibility.
You may be asked about these issues and more:
- Your availability for work
- Whether you're making reasonable efforts to find work
- Refusing suitable work
- Refusing a rehire offer from your former employer (the employer will be given an opportunity to participate in the hearing)
If you are denied benefits, you have the right to appeal the decision.
