Claim length
Your unemployment claim is valid for one year from the date it is filed unless you use up your benefits sooner.
Federal law requires a review of new wages after one year. You must meet all of these conditions to receive unemployment benefits again:
- You returned to work and earned at least $300 per week or five times the weekly benefit rate calculated for your second benefit year (whichever is greater).
- You earned those wages from an employer covered by federal or Connecticut unemployment insurance law
