Non-Priority List Grant Process – Step 2: OGA Reviews Applications

Once your district has submitted a complete Non-Priority List application during the 1st–10th submission window, your application is now under review. Applications are reviewed within 30 to 45 days after the event is closed.

What Happens During This Step?

The Office of Grants Administration (OGA) will:

  • Confirm the project qualifies under C.G.S. §10-283(b)
  • Ensure all required documentation has been submitted
  • Verify that the application is complete and ready to proceed

What Should Districts Do?

At this stage:

  • No additional documents need to be submitted. If additional information or clarification is needed, OGA will contact the district directly.
  • Schedule a design conference with the DAS Plan Review team to discuss technical grant requirements and next steps for plan approval
    • Email DAS.planreviewschools@ct.gov to schedule
    • Districts that are familiar with the process may request that the design conference be waived
