Non-Priority List Grant Process – Step 10: Final Payment / Refund Due
After the audit report has been issued, the Office of Grants Administration (OGA) will perform a final grant calculation.
Possible Outcomes
1. Final Payment Released
If the final grant calculation results in additional grant funds owed to the district, OGA will:
- Process the release of the final payment
- Issue payment in accordance with state procedures
2. Refund Due to the State
If the final grant calculation reveals that the project was overpaid, OGA will issue:
- A formal notice of refund due
- Instructions for remitting payment back to the State
Timely repayment is required to remain in compliance with grant statutes and state financial procedures.
