CTpass Program

Step-by-Step Instructions

1. Download the Token Transit app on your mobile device and create an account. If you already have an account, skip to Step 2.  In your web browser, click the link to access Token Transit's webpage.

2. Complete form at: CTpass: Connecticut State Employee Transit Pass Program - Token Transit.

3. Enter your state work email and select "Send Email with Code". If you are an executive branch employee but do not have a state email address, please contact Melissa Conway at (860) 713-5154 or Melissa.Conway@ct.gov for information on how to access the program without a state email address.

4.  Open the email on a work computer with the subject line “Unlock access to fares for CTtransit” from orders@mail.tokentransit.com

5. Scroll to the bottom and identify the unique 8-digit code.

6. Enter the 8-digit code under “Redeem Code” in Account Settings (person icon, top corner) in the Token Transit app on your phone.

7. Select “Redeem” to complete the unlock process.

8. Select Buy Passes, then CTpass Employee. Select “Buy Now” to purchase your discounted pass (Adult or Senior/Disability)

9. Select the pass in your digital app wallet when you are preparing to board the vehicle.

10. Select “Start My Trip” to confirm activation when you are about to board. The 31-day pass is active from day 1 it is active through day 31.

11. Show the operator your pass upon boarding the vehicle.
